Murad is a resilient 7-year-old from Gaza, Palestine, who underwent a routine medical procedure that tragically left him paralyzed from the neck down. Despite the devastating news, his parents refused to lose hope for his recovery. In a region where medical resources are limited, Murad’s journey to healing seemed uncertain until an opportunity arose.
With immense gratitude to our compassionate donors, Happy Kidz Canada rallied support to fund Murad’s medical care. This support enabled him to seek treatment at the renowned Guttmann Institute in Spain, where he embarked on a journey of intensive physiotherapy and further tests in hopes of regaining mobility. Later, he transitioned to Belgium, where he embarked on a long-term treatment program that promises to improve and transform his life.
